Awesome reviews! Go you!

Gave you a shout-out in my blog today. Sorry I didn't mention it yesterday -- I hadn't realized that was the release date until later.

Wow. You must be on cloud nine. Congratulations on receiving reviews with such high praise.

impressive! jeff vandermeer pointed me to your book, i loved the cover (i'm really fond of white-based covers), then i read larry's review, which led me to your blog, and then i saw the book reviewed in SFW. now i only have to find out who your agent is and if he has a romanian representative... ah, yeah, and get the book asap :)

Vandermeer's obviously a big fan, and one of my favorite authors, Paul Witcover, gave your book a great review. You can count on me to buy a copy and send you a photo for your game Real Soon.

Hnu, contact Peter Rubie for information on the foreign language rights on this title, and Matt Bialer for future titles.

Thanks for the shout out Jim! I've shouted at you around here, before, and anyone who digs through the archives will find me recommending Jig's adventures more than once.

And Joy Marchand: Haven't heard from you since WFC. I thought you already knew you were going to love this book because I am such a cool guy and I let you fondle one of my lovely ARCs!

@JM: could you please give me an e-mail address where we could discuss all this in detail?

There's the great vandermeer endorsement too. There's been what, three blog posts devoted to Last Dragon. =)

Oh, and here's a forum thread on your book: http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php?showtopic=26134

I think Mr. Vandermeer has a bit of a crush on Mr. McDermott's novel ;-)

Purely coincidental, I assure you. It just happened that lots of people were talking about it. They were saying things interesting enough to merit Jeff's continued mention.
