The pile of books beside my bed

The books started fairly small. A foot high at best, and nothing that needed completion were it dull. But it grew. The couch and desk are now covered in books. The kitchen table. Everything is growing books. They seem to be crawling out of the shelves, breeding and spreading spores all over the apartment. The books are on the computer, ordering family members, and arranging visits from old friends in the library. I expect to be buried beneath them soon if I don't do something drastic.

Like read them all.

And soon!
